Italian carmaker Fabbrica Italiana Automobili Torino or Fiat S.p.A for short, is vigorously marketing their limited edition 100 units of Fiat 500 “First Edition” mini compact cars that features the works of five young graphic designers in China. The limited versions of the Fiat 500 “First Edition” is just the first taste of their official kick off on September 15, 2011.

Vigorous Fiat enthusiasts can choose from the five versions of the Fiat 500 “First Edition” namely, 500 Follow Your Instinct, 500 Life, 500 Surprise, 500 Shangri-La, and 500 Fairy Tale. Each of these Fiat 500 models comes in a beautiful three-coat pearly white finish with exterior graphics on the body work. Not only that, the Fiat 500 “First Edition” also comes with a striking red leather interior and door pillars that contain special badges.

The Fiat 500 “First Edition” is patterned after the existing Fiat 500 Lounge. Under the hood is a 1.4-liter V-4 gas engine. The gearbox is a 6-speed automatic. The basic price tag for this limited model cars kicks off at $29,250 for consumers in China.

Now to make things more interesting, Fiat fans can place their early even before the September 14 official sale launch. A special drawing will be made so that one lucky Fiat consumer can trade the standard Fiat 500 model for a limited Fiat 500 “First Edition” unit. Sometime in the next year, the Italian brand and its partner Guangzhou Automobile Group Co (GAC) will unveil the 500 by Gucci and the 500C Convertible.
